About the Founder
Stephane Meus — Founder, FreshScanSentry
FreshScanSentry is built and run by Stephane Meus, a cybersecurity practitioner based in Fredericksburg, VA, with a background in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security operations.
He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Cyber Security and an Associate of Applied Science in Information Systems Technology (Cloud Computing specialization), both from Northern Virginia Community College, along with industry certifications including CompTIA Security+, PenTest+, Linux+, and Data+, the Network Vulnerability Assessment Professional credential, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council.
FreshScanSentry grew directly out of that hands-on experience — real penetration testing and vulnerability assessment work, done by hand, for organizations that often couldn't afford a full consulting engagement. FreshScanSentry exists to put that same real scanning, actual Nmap and OWASP ZAP, not a marketing teaser, within reach of any business, starting for free.
